I've had 3 different clips from Benchmade; I'm not sure if they offer more or not?

1. The "Benchmade" clip which has their name and is painted.
2. The deep carry clip with the Butterfly logo (CLASSY!)
3. The Split Arrow Clip (black and silver)

I really want to like the first two better due to the brand recogniton of the name or butterfly looks sharp to me but I don't dig them as much as the split arrow clip. The painted Benchmade clip feels bulky in my hand. The Deep carry is too loose and I feel like my knife is too hard to get out of my pants (I'm probably in the minority of not liking the deep carry clip. The split arrow is perfect though!

I replaced the painted "Benchmade" clip on my newly acquired 710.

I like Deep Carry clip, but I really wish BKC offers anodized version. I like sprit arrow as well. One thing I want for SA clip is that area touching handle ought to be a bit wider. It seems to create hot spot where EDC knife sits. (Yeah, my jeans pockets are being shredded :( )

For 710, have you tried Deep Carry Clip?

The Deep Carry was actually the first clip I tried. I didn't really care for it on there.

By far, my favorite clip is the standard black oxide (not black painted) clip. I don't believe they supply these on most current production, but you can request them from customer service and they will send them free of charge. If you give them a rubbing with metal polish for a couple of minutes, you can get a nice dark burnished look. The last two I got were pretty glossy, not the usual dull matte black.

My favorite is the parkerized (?) "Benchmade USA" clip.

I wish they used it as their default clip instead of the painted black "Benchmade" clip.

Anyone got pics of these? I've only seen the painted clips. Are they as bulky feeling? Or is that just the paint?

Even though it is the same shape I like the way these weather better than the painted ones.

Parkerized clips, they don't reflect light and they don't chip away to reveal shiny.

Parkerized "Benchmade U.S.A" clips like Tim_807 and gastonian have shown. I just love those clips.

I prefer the deep carry clip, the knife sits lower in the pocket and the knife is less noticeable.

For finish I like the parkarized/oxide clips as anything painted just falls apart, and silver shows too many markings and finger prints/dirt buildup.

For comfort, I like the deep pocket clip on most, and the non-arrow clip on some smaller folders and folders without lanyard holes like the 707. I find the arrow one to be sharp enough to sometimes jam up between the finger and nail. I've always liked how the standard Benchmade clip is rounded without anything sharp, and very basic by design, giving it ease of upkeep and durability. I find most fancy clips don't hold up well, and ultimately wind up looking bad as they wear.

BM did a great job with the deep carry clip and it's something we have all wanted for a while. I like it more than most other makers. Still, I don't like it quite as much as my low-rider clips made by STR, but it's a great clip nonetheless.

I also think the park'd finish looks better than painted, and that it actually progressively looks better as it wears unlike a painted, SS finish, or anod' clip.
