I'm talking about slabs and metal finish of your INFI.
I'm kinda plain jane. I love Black G10 and user stripped black CG (Ghetto Satin). I'm not fond of DC or satin because I feel compelled to keep it pretty and cost.

Who's next?;)

For looks, I prefer satin and black paper or snakeskin.

For users I prefer satin (but am okay with DC) and natural or black micarta. "Ghetto" satin included.
 
I don't know what "ghetto satin" is but I like green on green, well beaten of course.
 
The original, black linen micarta with smooth black coating. The more beat up the better. :D
 
The only combo that matters... Res c and ghetto satin.

I like satin or stripped blades, all the gunk just slides right off with some mineral oil or hot water when you use them. Coatings serve their purpose but get nasty quick. Although, some coatings look pretty cool.

As for scales, I love snakeskin (don't have one yet though). Well, to be honest, I like all of Busse's scales, even though I'm getting tired of black micarta because it's on all of my choppers.

that stripped dssf looks AWESOME!

I love many combos but satin and black paper/g10 take the cake. Dessert sand is my favorite powder coat.

Weeelll--up until recently I would have said tan slabs on just about any color blade except green (sorry!).

Yesterday I received a BOSS Jack in satin with Sandstorm slabs. No doubt Sandstorm is my favorite handle color(s) now. Pics soon. :D

Nice duo. I am about to receive my first satin/snake combo Hogfsh coming in soon, can't wait. Also, to me, it's hard to beat black CG with green/blk g10 for a combat knife look that you dont feel bad to use. I can't bring myself to use satin yet.

You're missing out!! Satin is the best user and cleans up nicely!!
 
tan canvas with tanker gray is my new favorite. before that it was whatever I could get my hands on.

I know i need a satin user, I also hear it does not rust as easily, i just need to slam a six pack or a few shots of JD before i make that first chop, or i need to stock up on some more satins! I will someday though. what was your first satin user?
