What's your favorite EDC?

Well, I'm still working on finding mine, but my ideal EDC is something that is between 2.25 and 3in long, thin, decent steel, and a nice pocket clip.

The kershaw Zing, skyline and chill all fall under that category, even if they are just a bit too long. The sypderco persistance, CRKT drifter, and others like that are mostly what I'm looking at.

This should be an interesting thread :).

When you're a knife nut, picking a favorite EDC is not easy as we all know. I rotate often but if I were forced to mention one EDC knife in my rotation, I can easily say the CRK Umnumzaan is one of my favorite EDC's.

As Reeek said hard to pick just one. Some of my favorites that are always a joy to carry would be, Kershaw Leek, Spyderco Endura 4 ( which is a light blade for its large size ) and I like carry around the Scrapyard Scrapivore in my pocket as well.

My only true EDC is the Victorinox Rambler... the others just rotate through my pockets.

A Victorinox Midnight Manager is always on my keychain.

Like most of you I don't have one favourite. There are just too many great knives, multitools and SAKs. But the Fällkniven TK4, the Leatherman Juice S2 and the Victorinox Pioneer are what come to my mind now. Those are amongst my favourites.

I used to always be looking for an EDC that was better than my current one. That changed when I got my Sebenza. I have not considered another folder for EDC since acquiring it and probably never will. It does everything I could ever ask of a folder. The only other folder that gets any pocket time is a SAK, usually a Vic Farmer. Here's a pic that I have posted before:

Hard to say...
But the one that sees more pocket time is the BM Skirmish.

same here, but is not my favorite, even though i like it a lot..:D

I've been rethinking my knife collection recently, reevaluating what I need/want/like, and I find myself returning to small folders and slip-joints. I'd have to say that my Vic Rambler is truly one of my top favourites of all time. It sure isn't the most expensive or 'prestigious' knife in my collection, but I just might miss it the most if I didn't have it. It allows me to carry other folders without feeling like I'm sacrificing other utility needs, I suppose.

Anyway, just thought I'd clarify in case it sounded like I was arguing the definition of 'EDC' rather than discussing a favourite EDC as the OP intended... :)

Another vote for the Buck 301. The stockman has been my favorite pattern for 20+ years now.

My "favorite" changes just about everyday, and often more than once a day. Top contenders include the purple Delica 4, Caly 3.5, Military du jour, Para 2 and CS large Voyager (2011). The FFG Endura and ZT 0551 vie for attention too.

2011 large Voyager, top.

Not to get off topic...but how is a "What's your favorite EDC knife?" thread "Off Topic"?

Right now, Vic Classic, BTW.
