What's Your Favorite Multi-tool?

That's easy !

Leatherman Wave in a nylon belt pouch. I have one on my duty belt, and one for all other times ! :D

Been carrying one daily since I retired. Dunno' how I would do without it. ;)

Leatherman Wave, all the way. I've also got the optional hex driver et al. Though, I must admit to rarely using the attachments. The basic tool is used constantly.

The Wave is nice....and HEAVY! For an EDC multi-tool I like the Leatherman Side-Clip. It's much lighter, and has the things I have the most use for. It also ha a pocket clip, so it has one more carry option. Look 'em all over, and get the one that serves YOUR purposes.

I agree too; get a LM Wave - but also get one of the new LM Juice tools that are about to be released for when you can't carry a tool on your belt. Wave for the belt and Juice for the pocket.

I will break from the pack and suggest an unconventional, expensive and hard-to-find multitool. The Leatherman Wave. :D

Does the Swisstool have scissors yet?

Yes, the Swisstool X with scissors has been out for about a year. I've seen them on sale for $50.

The Gerber Legend has scissors also.

Yes, it does. The SwissTool X and the SwissTool RS both have scissors.

I like the Leatherman Wave, but I think the Gerber Legend (aka Multi-Plier 800) is a better implementation of the same concept. You get a decent blade and an excellent pair of scissors that can both be opened one-handed via thumb studs. The other tools all open without opening the pliers, they do not clump, and they all lock.

Instead of a standard saw blade the Legend includes a sabre-saw blade holder that comes with a RemGrit metal cutting saw. You can swap in any kind of saw that you need, as well as replacing worn blades.

The Phillips screwdriver blade accepts Gerber's hex-bit adapter accessory kit.

The pliers are spring-loaded. They include replaceable carbide wire-cutter blades that are much stronger than the regular steel cutters on other multi-tools. The handles are a comfortable ergonomic shape with Kraton inserts to improve the grip.

I like the PSTII. It has all the tools that I use and is much lighter than the wave.

I have owned a Sog Power plier for the past 3 years and am very happy with it.

PST II
(which started me buying sharp things on the net - I bought it from back country equipment for less in dollars than it would have cost me in pounds!)
Does all that I need - I have the Tool Adapter, and changed a couple of the included bits for security bits, and carry the thing in a beltclip sheath from www.tool-shop.com

That really is an EDC (now, the knives, they rotate)

Wave only Multi-Tool with Saw AND Scissors, and
being able to open either of the blades, OR the pliers
one handed, just comes in "handy" :)

First REAL Multi-Tool I got, and if I lost it,
I'd buy another one with in a day! No doubt in my
mind someday my grandson(s) will enjoy it, too. and I'm not even married, yet.

I carry the Pulse sheathless in my back pocket next to my wallet (with a Reeves-style not on the lanyard ring to facilitate easy removal). I like it. Has scissors, a good file and decent screwdrivers and LOCKS!

I carried a Wave fro 3 years before I got my Pulse so I can say it is a great tool as well. Can't go wrong there!

Want a Supertool 2000 as well. Seems like the perfect tool for outdoors use! But I would probably carry a micra with it for the scissors.

Leatherman Wave.
I can open the blades one handed, it doesn't pinch while using the pliers, and it has pretty good scissors. There may be better multis out there, but since I bought the Wave I've used it quite a bit and have no desire to "upgrade" to anything else.
