I'm sitting here looking at my small collection of Polkowski's and thinking about what is my absolute favorite or which one would I keep if I can only have one. Not easy at all.
I currently am in pocession of the following:
Bulldog
Pug
Scorpion
Companion
Polecat
Back Up Boot
I had a Mongoose (I want it back), Gaunt, CQ Fighter, and a WASP.
I think the overall most versatile is the Polecat. Easy to carry, transistions well to different grips and can do utility work. The Mongoose is the larger version of the Polecat. i don't think it has the same balance, but it is a sentimental favorite. Scorpion is probably the best feeling of them all, great defense/fighter. Of Al's big knives I think the Bulldog is the best. It feels great in the hand, moves well and doesn't "feel" like a big knife.
I suppose if I could have only one for whatever reason, logic would say the Polecat. But logic doesn't always win, so in that case it would be the Scorpion.
I have held some of the new models and some of the other old models. Of the new I've handled, I like the Dingo, Nomad and the Warthog. Of the older models you have to like the Urban Kukri for no other reason than, just because.
