Interesting how not many have put wood at the top of their list. I guess oak and heritage walnut doesn't do it for people?

I love Real wood, But I want the wood to have great grain. The Current CS wood offerings are laminates and are great for knife handles, but don't have any real grain except the KOA as seen above. I do like the Oak even if it has little grain. However, if I'm having a custom knife made there are other scale options I like better than a plain grain wood version. I have some great Black Walnut here at my house that has fantastic grain, one day I'll put on some of my Buck knives:thumbup:.

Does Buck change up their scale selections once in a while or have they been the same for a long time?

Will the custom shop jig water buffalo on request, or is it something specific Buck has to offer? Just waiting on my first two customs from Buck (an s30v 113 and a S30V n/s 110 both with elk handles :)). But I would like to get my grubby hands on a jigged water buffalo 110 too. And ram's horn. And sambar stag. And, well, you get the picture...

And earlier CS 110 knives were available in BG-42 steel as well. Welcome to the Forums.
