What is your favorite Becker sheath, factory or aftermarket.
Favorite material and mode of carry.

Bk9, Bk7( Factory sheath) and a Bk2(aftermarket Kydex).

The Bk9 and Bk7 are both new never used.( Pre Christmas gifts).

Can't wait to use em.

I guess Kydex is my favorite(leather is pretty expensive), but I do like leather.

Favorite mode of carry is belt right side.

Cnr has an amazing custom sheath selection, but unfortunately the price plus shipping makes it the same price as the knife!!

I been thinking about trying the Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop for my BK9, has anyone tryed it?

I sport plastic from Chestnut Ridge on my BK7. Don't have any for the '9 though. Their stuff is good to go.

I'm actually gonna have them make me a super cool piggyback setup in the near future...

Y'know, I shot CRKS an email to see if they could make me a pancake style sheath for my 9 but no reply :(

I might still go with their standard foldover sheath though. I like the Junglas sheath as it has the adjustable retention and is 2 piece, but the price is kind of a killer for me.

I prefer kydex, it's durable, weather resistant, dries fast, and can have a multitude of pouches/stuff attached to it.

I prefer to carry on my belt, right side with a thigh strap.

We just got my son their kydex sheath for the BK-7. He likes it but mentions it's too tight and seems to cover too much of the top of the handle. He plans to doctor it a bit and believes it will be great once he modifies it.

I just received a BK2. It's my first knife without a leather sheath. I was suprised on how much noise it makes when drawing the knife. I love the look of the sheath but question it's usefullness when stealth might be required.

it's a good functional sheath. protects you, the knife, has options.

want stealth? well, mod the sheath, or aquire a new one, right?

The stock sheaths for the bks are frickin sub par man, id pay the difference for kydex. Ethan save us the trouble of ordering and having to pay more shipping!!!

psstt, language!

also, kydex is pretty loud too. plastic sheaths on most knives are fairly loud.

now, the old school lined Eagle sheaths. ah, there was stealth.
