What knife you do like to use for the dirty work? I have a heavy duty expensive folder, but my go to knives for dirty work is my Emerson CQC-7B and my trusty (old style) Leatherman Wave. I'll try to post some pics in the next week. What's your fave (fixed or folder or both) and lets see some pics dammit!!!:D:thumbup:

my dirty work knife is my BM 550 Griptillian. It's the older 440C version so I really don't care if I beat the heck out of it. It's an excuse to get the 154CM version!

My Spyderco, Tenacious is at a low cost, and a great user.

My "go to" when I know I'm going to use it hard, is a user CRKT D.O.G. folder that I picked up used a while back. The other "user", if I want to carry a smaller folder, is a B/M mini-Grip. Great little knife.

Emerson 12, I use it for pretty much everything bar cooking and it still looks good :thumbup:

For the really big jobs I do the same as J Curd. I use a Kershaw Outcast heavily reprofiled with a hair-splitting convex edge. For everything else I just use the closest blade (usually my RAM).

When I am at the office I carry my Spyderco Tasman and Delica to cut boxes, plastic wrapping, and other light work. When I do yardwork, cabling work, satellite dish work, etc... I use my Spyderco NativeIII and Crossbill. I really get my moneys worh out of these two knives. They just take a beating and keep asking for more.
