Buck started using distinctive year marks in 1986. So..... What is your favorite '86 and newer year mark and why?

I'm partial to the 2002 Anvil and 2005 Idaho year marks and will selectively buy Bucks with those markings. But my favorite year mark is the 1990 X. That year marked my first real interest in knives (and an 'interesting' time in my life) so the "X" stamped Bucks are always special to me.

I really like the Idaho mark. It's a great way to recognize a new era for 110s.

After that, I prefer 110s that just say "Buck,"...like those are easy to find.

of the 'year' marks i only like the anvil of 2002 as that is the year i started as a real collector..
the dots are much better then the odd things for each year mark
other then dots i like the idear of roman mumbers on the back side..
oh and the club and wally blade stamps are nice ...

The 1988 mark. Was the year I graduated high school and put myself and my BUCK to work. They look real nice all clean and shiny, but the shine alot more after a hard days work!

I don't really have a preference as to a tang stamp. As long as 'Buck' is on the blade, I am happy.

I like the graphic tang stamps...Idaho, anvil, Bos logo...The dots, x's, & other stamps show a blatant lack of imagination, IMHO... ;)

I like the one's that help me identify when it was made....as long as their is the name "Buck" on it then it's cool.

I think the anvil and the Idaho stamp. Leaning more towards the anvil, but Idaho is close by and I kind of have a soft spot for that one.

This years 2007 one is sorta my favorite, it is very close to the "turkey track" brand that the late Charles A. "Skeeter" Skelton used on his ranch.
