I am bit curious what is your number one knife, the one knife is your favourite and why?
Mine is unnamed model from knifesmith Pekka Kivimäki, who lives in Kauhava, Finland. Kauhava is famous of being Puukko county and has long traditions of making traditional puukko's. So no wonder mine is puukko too.
I bought that particular knife 11 years ago. After that I've carried that so in outdoor hikes, campings and in military. It has survived hard frosts of my bootcamp ( was -35 degree C then and snow was knee deep ), it survived all soggy mornings, being several times gotten fully wet (rain, fog, swamp, lake and ocean + several small rivers and ditches ) and blade is not covered rust. Small darker patch and minor rust spots can be seen.
This knife is still my general purpouse work knife. Any wood work I do I usually use this. In army it was also my bread, butter, dining knife and razor.
I have had most memoriable times when this puukko has hanged on my belt. It has gone thru a lot with me in past 11 years.
I only picked up this knife when I was 15 because I had lost my Marttiini knife and I fell in love with that puukko's handle's colour and shape of the handle with general looks of it.
This one is truely a sweet heart of all my knives and I still continue using it.

Victorinox Soldier is to help for size estimation.

Blade is still in good shape after 11 years of hard using, including army service and countless resharpenings.

Smith's Initial PK for Pekka Kivimäki
