When I fist started with Busse and kin, I posted asking about what 3 knive combo would you use for all your cutting tasks.

I have evolved...remove the duplicates and safe queens from your equation. How many user Busse and kin do you have and what is their purpose? Here is mine for example:

Warden: light edc
Rodent solution: small fixed blade
Ratmandu: mid sized fixed blade
Chopweiler: large fixed blade
Coming soon: large chopper

I have a TGLB with my Minuteman gear, but I'm thinking of replacing it with a HG-55 MIL overrun. An HG-55 LE is my hunting knife, I have a 1311 that is my chopper but I would like to upgrade it to a MOAB. I just got a Battle saw that will go with my camping gear to compliment a smaller knife. I want a hell razor to put in my get home bag. Anything other than this will just be for fun and collecting. If it wasn't for having to shuffle them around so much id only need the Battlesaw, HG55, elmax steak and my XM and Swiss Army Knife.

I would be more than happy with my Swamp Warden (with grips), HRLM, ASH1 and a 1311. That said another working combo would be my Skeleton Warden, Basic 4, ASH1 and FFBM (or NMFBM). Or Scrapivore, RMD, ASH1 and Dogfather. Custon Rodent Trail, SOB, ASH1 and MMD.

or or or or or ;)

For now:
AMS
INFIdu
1111

I'll be surprised if there's a situation that one of those can't handle

I use a mine for anything and everything. Total of 5 in hand with 9 more shipping from Ohio.

1111 is the heavy chopper soon to be replaced by the Busse Battle Saw.

TGLB is the medium knife, does it all from light chopping to butchering and carving the Thanksgiving Turkey. I have used this one in the kitchen a lot.

Rodent Solution is my IWB EDC and skinner and hunting knife.

The others I have on the way will find jobs as well.

Magnum bear cub: edc/process game
Ratmandu ↑↑↑↑↑↑
STEELHEARTERGO: medium, one knife fits most scenario
Ergo battle mistress: bigger version of above
NMFBM/ASHBM: firewood processing

I guess that's all off the top of my head

HHFSH: Main chopper and do everything, 'The One', 'My Precious'.
ASH1 LE: Perfect for everything except heavy chopping, lighter to carry if I know I won't need the HH.
HR: Nearly as good as above, even lighter, carried when I want a slim knife (for just in case scenarios) to slip in a small gap in my kit.
Culti: For bushcrafty-type whittling, and because it matches the ASH1 LE so well as a little second.

The above four are the ones I have left, out of many that I've had.

I only have two kin so far, the Ratmandu and Rodent 6. I have three coming, but I honestly don't think one of them will supplant the ones I have. The Rodent 6 would be my heavy chopper and any butchering. The RMD my smaller camp knife. I suppose the BGTG has the potential to take the place of the Rodent 6. But it is unlikely the BGRatweiler or JMD will take over for anything. Other than to step in for the RMD occasionally. But unless the BGTG supplants the Rodent 6, the Rodent 6 will likely remain my be-all/end-all blade.

Either of these combos:
Bwm, sarge and game warden. All satin.
Ashbm, boss jack and ams. All satin.

I could dial it back to only the convexed satin NMSFNO and be happy. Delicate tasks would be trickier, but still doable, and it's a voracious chopper for its relatively portable size. Adding a small EDC blade would add flexibility but it's a hard call which I'd pick between the AMS, SAR3, and custom S.Scrofa. Of the three, the AMS is the best all-rounder, but the Scrofa slices like a scalpel and that's the NMSFNO's foible. Maybe after I strip and convex the AMS I'll feel better about it.

Of course, right now everything but a satin SAR4 is either languishing at the custom shop (NMSFNO, SAR3, Scrofa) or off in storage (AMS)...so I guess my answer is SAR4 ;) My only real problem with the SAR4 being a one-knife system is how poorly it chops compared to the NMSFNO. For its blade size, it's quite capable...but that NMSFNO may as well be a gransfors bruks axe compared to it.

In moments when you can only go with what you can grab immediately:

NMSFNO w/ swedge tip
BOSS STREET Proto
