I have a few oldies, well, one oldie and a few semi-older bucks. On the far right is my oldest, it is the same size/shape/construction as my newer 102, but with the upside down "BUCK" and no other marking. Next one over is my brother's 112 that I just got back from the awesome folks at Buck, all sharpened and polished up, a no-nail-nick .112. . Last is an old 110 that I don't even remember where I got it from, it was almost tossed in the trash a few times it was so hammered, then in 1999 I bought a new Nighthawk and inside was a certificate, send in ANY Buck knife and they would refurb it to like new. Sent it in, and sure enough, it came back sharp, tight and shiny. So, what do YOU have?

My 124, not sure how old it is... It came to me pretty tore up, it survived a minor motorcylce accident, but one side of the handle was gone and the guard and pommel were scratched badly. I polished it up as best I could and made some oak handles, it came out ok, nothing to write home about.

The first Buck I ever owned was a 102 that my father gave me for Christmas. That was back around the late 50's. I used it whenever I went camping. Unfortunately it is lost to history. The oldest Buck I currently own is a 110 that dates back to 1968.

Here's 33 of my 36 Bucks. I have a 110 on my belt, one getting a warranty repair done, and my Christmas 110 Custom still on it's way. 36 and counting...

I have an older 2 liner 110 that I've had for ages. It's apparently what may be known as an "early type 2" . Two brass scale rivets, brass rocker pin, integral brass spacer and bolster and "BUCK USA" inverted in 2 lines. I also have a "late type 2" with two brass scale rivets, steel rocker pin, separate brass spacer and bolsters and "BUCK USA" inverted in 2 lines. Both are almost like new. I think one of the guys with a lot more Buck history knowledge can put approximate dates on these.

I'm not sure what year my oldest is...It's a 2-line inverted, 2-scale-pin, brass rockerbar, brass spacer, straightbacked long-chamfered 110...a really ugly Buck knife...ugh... :D

It's the one on top here -

My oldest is a 119 marked BUCK. Also have a 116 and a 102 marked BUCK USA. All of these have the original full flap sheaths. Last up is a .112. All are still being used.

Here's a pic of 2 of my older knives, top 1 is a 1 line w/ dot and the bottom 119 is a 1 line. Both of these knives are from Mr. Vern Taylor's collection.

My oldest is a 110 similar to the one in Mike's photo and the one that Trax calls his ugly one.

Mine has no scale pins, brass rocker pin, inverted 2 liner minus the periods in the USA, intergral bolster spacer. From what we can tell it dates '67-'69. Found a reference where the ones with no scale pins are rare.

Not to where I can put up a photo right now. Just imagine Mikes without scale pins. And I have a few others in that time frame.

My oldest are two 112s marked .112. that I recently acquired on eBay.

I have another that's just a bit newer, but it's in almost perfect condition.

 ...hmmm...I have the ones I mentioned earlier and some 3 dot and 4 dot's as well as a number from the years post 1980. Do ya think I could get ahold of a decent 2 dot 110 or a 2 dot 112???...Not a chance...Go figure. One of the knives I sent to Joe to have refurbished is 2 dot 112 that I used the heck out of before Bucks became a "thing" for me...LOL...I wonder what it will look like when it gets back.

Mine is a 112 Ranger? It has the short blade. I bought it just before I went to work for an outfitter in Montana in 1977. It has seen ALOT of hard use over the years, and I still keep it for backup.

Hey Darryl, is the the kind of two dot 110 you're looking for?

Mike - how do you get your 110's looking so good??? Did you buy them that way, or work them over???

The oldest 110 has always been mine. The two dot I picked up on ebay for $25. The only thing I do is wipe them down periodically with a cotton cloth, however you guys are convicing me to start using paste wax. :D
