I think I have perfected the set up that works best for me.
Back packing in the back country when fire is needed regardless of rain or snow. I take the Silky 270 saw, the scrapyard 911 in the backpack and the 511 on the hip (bottom middle). This gives me all the horsepower and redundancy to camp multiple days, fire craft, shelter prep, brush clearing, cooking etc. Weight without sheaths, 38oz
For fishing or day hikes I take the Cold Steel bushman in the pack and mora stainless clipper on the hip ( top left). This total package is around 10oz and gives me insane capabilities for survival if I needed it. I get two very capable blades for less weight than most midsize knives
