For me, it depends on the knife the color is applied to. Case surely does offer some outstanding scale colors, but if I had to choose one, it's the Bermuda Green...at least right now.

I like the old Appaloosa bone a lot, somewhat unique. I have one in a lavender gray Barlow. While I've not held one the blue Bose Case swayback gent looks quite fetching. (I like the Warncliffe blade, but not the way that pattern handle fits my hand).

That's a tough one. I have a lot of Case knives in a lot of dyed bone variations, and to be honest I like most of them pretty equally (with a few exceptions that didn't turn out quite so well).

I've got a molasses barnboard jigged Copperhead that is one of the prettier bone handles I have. I think some of their older classic red bone is hard to beat, though I don't own one. The modern red dye they use just doesn't get the same consistent dark coloration, though they sometimes get close with the pocket worn old red.

Another one I liked was their second cut antique bone. I think the last run of that was 2010 or so.

First off this thread needs some photos.
OP any chance of a photo of the blue ? I really dig the nearly all black ones with the blue around the perimeter . . . is that what you have . . . though I always seem to find something else to buy. One day I will get a Trapper in that combo. It is VERY cool.

I think my number one favorite Case “color” will surprise you. The white “plastic”. It is unique and fascinating to me.
I have this Case Medium Stockman. It was a gift from The Chef and I really love it. Who else makes pure white slippys ? I don’t recall seeing any.

I just bought this Walnut Bone . Beautiful ! ! !
but . . .
I could have been pretty happy with one of the White Case Trappers. Some day.

PS: Cases real Stag is a interesting one for me. I actually prefer it to “higher end” brands ; their stag just isn’t quite as complex as Cases. I also find stag in general kind of grotesque.
The actual color is less yellow and orange and more warm brown than this photo would suggest.

This trapper though, when it is in my hand, it feels like coming home ! It is really a very satisfying knife handle in use ! ! ! !
And in the pouch it is a real LOOKER. Very satisfying there too !

My favorite is actually my rosewood trapper. I like wood better that bone anyway and it's consistent. It's just a great shade of deep red with some brown. Close second would be my "rancher" large stockman. I don't even know if they have a name for the color. Almost a sawcut amber bone...

I like the older red jigged bone.

Picked up a couple of Case knives with the Purple Haze bone for my wife. Liked them so much I got a slimline trapper in the same covers for myself.

With slip joints, I generally favor jigged bone over most other scales and generally in some sort of brown tone. Reddish brown is good. Blue is cool too. A couple of years ago at Blade I was grabbed by a little Dozier (K-32 if you wonder) fixed blade in blue G-10. I found it beautiful and still do.

My Case choices are limited due to my preference for CV steel... But I have always enjoyed the Chestnut Bone color. My Sodbuster Jr. is very handsome, in my opinion. If more color options are extended to the CV family I would not complain, I have always liked the look of the blue and brighter red bone colors.
