Whatsa Dyad?

A while back I got a Lg. Dyad in a trade. What in the world is a Dyad? The PE blade is pretty thin on this, is it meant to be a fishing knife? Just wondering. You don't hear much about these.

I'll bet you've heard of a triad, right?
Dyad:
1 : PAIR; specifically : two individuals (as husband and wife) maintaining a sociologically significant relationship

The Dyad knife was designed to be an everyday light-use knife, possibly a gentleman's knife. The PE blade is thin to allow for the other opening hole. It'll do just about any light-use task you can think of, from letter-opening up to whittling.
