What happened? BF was down since Saturday the 13th. Did I miss a bulletin on maintenance or was their major trouble?
 
The thread title is exactly what I was wondering.....and I feel Nekkid now without my membership :eek:
 
i was wondering myself, and i'm sure many other folks are too... glad to see it all up and running again..:thumbup:
 
A whole weekend without BF sucked. It must have been a server issue. I could not even get on with my IPhone that is different than the home computers. It must have been down for everyone because i just looked on the exchange which gets alot of traffic and on the first page, there was listings from 3-13-10, so it must have hit everyone. I am glad its up and running now.
 
I just figured the server crashed. I'd like to know though.

Thank God that BF is back up. I had to spend time on other less worthy forums. My wife wanted to know if it was my special time of the month.
 
I am wondering too. Yesterday was the lousy time change and the morning was slow as a result, it would have been a good day to lounge around BF.
 
Yup, It was down for me all yesterday and pretty much all day today as well.
 
It's been down for me all day- this is the first time I've been able to get on, and it is lagging big-time.
 
I don't know where the forum originates, but maybe it had to do with the big storm and power outages in the east.
 
I was so lost as to what to do I ordered a new knife. I'm glad were back on, that was crazy!!!!:eek::mad::D

It was frustrating. I am new here, just paid for gold membership to sell some knives and then the website crashes for who knows how long. I was seriously considering calling PayPal for my money back. A few hours is all it takes to get a server up and running.... but two days??? That's B.S. and we deserve some answers. The site is still running slow as before, so my first thought of them switching servers to optimize performance is doubtful... :jerkit:

You've been here less then a month and already you're complaining?

I've had servers go out for a week, add in another 24-48 hours for the DNS servers to update and you could be out for a week and a half. Two days is bad, but it's not terrible. Plus I'm sure people had better things to do then sit on the phone or drive to a data center to fix a server.

Point is it's back and now we're happy. :)
