Awesome to see you together on film. Want to thank both of you for the projects, knives, films and the time you put into the subject we all love.

Looks like you guys had fun, thanks for the videos Joe!

NICE! Can't wait. Looks like you guys had a blast. Enjoyed the videos from the show, Joe.

Great video. That is one insane knife knife guys. I did not handle a lot of knives at the show, but that Wheeler/Paranee was by far my favorite.
It is light, fast, and incredibly comfortable in hand. Awesome design and the execution by Nick is unlike anything I have seen before.
Joe, thanks for letting me fondle it, and Nick thanks for talking with me about the construction.

Man... what a blast I had down there!!!!! :D

It was SOOOOOOO GREAT to get the hell out of the house & shop for a few and hang out with my old friends, as well as make a whole pile of new ones!!!

It's hard to believe I had never met my brother Joe face to face until this past weekend... It sure didn't feel like it... it felt like I was just meeting up with an old friend that I've been around for years.

It's inspiring to watch Joe do his thing... he has a charisma about him that draws people in, and an energy that is infectious. People give me flack for having a cheesy grin on my face all the time, but Joe had a beaming smile on his face through the whole show.

Luv 'ya brother! :)

Chris- It was great to meet you as well buddy! Your kind words are sooo appreciated, especially considering the caliber of work that was in that huge ass room! :)

Hey Nick it was totally awesome to see you and chat at blade this year. You are extremely humble but I consider your work some of the best in the world. In 2002 when I first started making knives I met you at the Oregon knife collectors show in Eugene Oregon. I was immediately inspired by the uncompromised fit and finish of the work you were putting out then. Later that year I went to the knife show in Missoula Montana where your Bowie knife was voted best forge blade at the show.In fall of 2003 I talked with you at the Northwest knife collectors show where you had a Bowie that won best of show. You had a couple of Ziploc bags with chunks of 1084 Where you you explained different processes of heat treat and the way they affect the performance of the final product. After that show I was even more impressed with your work because I knew that the function of your knives was every bit as good as the form, and both of those I considered extremely uncompromised.
Your work and the knowledge that you shared truly inspired me. I look back now and I've been making knives and swords for over 12 years. Although my pieces look much different than yours they are all a representation of the information you shared with me 12 years ago.I have been following this whole project and you are truly rocking these knives.
I wish you the best my friend, and I hope to own one of your knives soon.

Hey now, it's not totally gay... :p ;) LMFAO :D

I can't thank you guys enough, and especially my brother Joe, for all of your support and encouragement.

Many of you know, I have had a pretty rough year... but the brotherhood that I am surrounded by with this craft has been a staple that has helped keep my mind right and kept me happy and in an upright position. It means more to me than many of you will ever know.

As far as I could tell, I had that big grin on my face the entire week-end... It was such a wonderful time!!!

Getting to meet my far away friend and bladesmith extraordinaire, Samuel Lurquin, was such a great experience!!! :) You rock Sam!!! :D
