Despite growing up with Sodbusters and SAKs, I have grown pretty attached to my Peanuts.
However a while ago my Mom saw me using my yellow Peanut and she asked: " Where did you get that little souvenir knife? "
"It's not a souvenir knife mom" LOL
Thats funny. But it does serve to show the different cultural influence of the region. When something is not the norm, it stands out. A Case here is no big deal, but in the land of SAK's and Herder sodbusters, a yellow handle is like a neon sign in the night. If it had red handles she'd never have noticed.
That is interesting, cultural maybe but probably generational too. My mom is 91 and whenever I use a one-handed-opener around her she tells me to be careful with that "switchblade." Mom grew up around case slip joints.
