It's the only type of cooking a real man will do.

When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put
into motion:

1) The woman buys the food.

2) The woman makes the salad, vegetables, and dessert.

3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along
with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who
is lounging beside the grill -- beer in hand.

4) The man places the meat on the grill.

5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.

6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He
thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with
the situation.

7) The man takes the meat off the grill and hands it to the woman.

8) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins,
sauces, and brings them to the table.

9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

10) Everyone praises the man and thanks him for his cooking efforts.

11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off."

And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no
pleasing some women!

That's just the way life is !!Men and women are different and their different skills are very evident at the BBQ !!

What is the matter with you? You didn't have the woman bring the beer.

(please don't hurt me, Cindy......)

On Thanksgiving,

My wife will prepare everything, for a meal fit for a king. Sometimes 15 different dishes and will cook for 2 or more days and prepare for even more than that.

What do I do ?

I walk up to a vat of hot oil , and plunk a turkey into it for 45 minutes. I'll piddle around in the shop during this 45 minutes.

I get a platter and plunk the beautiful golden bird on to it.

Walk into the house and show the bird to our guests and get all the credit for a wonderful meal :D

And lay around while the wife cleans the mess.

It's good to be Men :D

Since I usually work on thanksgiving, the only thing I have to do is show off my knives while carving the turkey. :D

I don't know where this idea that cooking is woman's work came from. The great chefs have long been and continue to be largely men.
