When am I going to get my small Sebenza 25??

I want a small 25 with a chad Nichols Damascus blade ... My wallet is patiently waiting hahahaha not really it will cry when that day comes

It would be perfect, I would used my small 21 for dress pants and my small 25 with the .14 stock for heavier everyday tasks

Add me to that list that's waiting. I send an email to CRK every 6 months or so to check-in. Last time I checked was in Nov - there was no news back then. Maybe a small Sebenza 27 or 28.

Do you think the finger grooves would reduce ok or do you think it would need it's own unique handle shape?

Cody, that is a good question. I will be curious to see what CRK does assuming a small 25 is in the works.

I hope that there will be news at blade.
25 insingo or
damascus or
insingo damascus  or
small or
...
I'd take all of them.

Peter

I have never held a 25 but hope to soon, but I am waiting on a small Zaan first. It has been so long I think you 25 guys may get yours first. What a stout knife a small Zaan would be.

IMO, I don't see how the grooves would work on a small 25 especially for someone with thick fingers. Hold a 25 and small 21 and see how your fingers fall along the handle.

A small Umnum would be such a delight; the milling and blade grinds on a smaller scale could look utterly exquisite.

Gets my vote above a Small 25 certainly...but that's not to say a Small 25 would be rejected...

Yep. For those who want to try something different in a Small Sebenza, I'd suggest picking up a Knifeart.com Carbon Fiber exclusive. The full Carbon Fiber scale really gives the Small Sebenza a new look and feel . . . or at least it does for me. Try it. You'll like it. :)

I don't think a finger groove would work on a small.

I hope to never see a small 25 myself :p
I'm afraid if one came out that could be a signal that the 21 is on the way out. I would hate to see the Reg/Classic/21 pivot bushing system gone for good.

A small zaan would be cool, and prefered to a small 25 for me. But I don't think either of those would displace my small 21 micarta insingo...such a sweet knife.

Blade is in June, that's your best chance to see if one will be available any time soon.

I also don't think the second finger groove would work well on a Small. I would be in favor of a Small Sebenza with pivot bushing, ceramic ball interface, and flat hollow ground blade though :) that'd be just about perfect!

Sign me up for one too! I agree that the finger grooves would go away, but it would be interesting to see if the keep the same size detent/lock up ceramic ball.

If they "made the finger grooves go away" on the small 25, then sign me up for a Large 'Small 25', if you get what I'm saying ;)

The finger grooves are not bad. I initially did not like the 25 when I first got mine, but I gave it a chance and now its one of my favorite folders ever. I doubt it will ever take place of my regulars, but its definitely up there.

I agree. Once I ditched the pocket clip (lets not bring that up again) I really like the 25. I'll get back to carrying it soon, At the same time I would really dig a 25 with that "nice neutral handle" that works so well on the 21. The 25's grooves look cool, and add to the style of the knife, but I'm not sure they have ever helped me use it better. I don't recall anyone ever complaining about the ergos on the 21. It just made sense, so wasn't worth discussing at the time.

Anyways........don't want to hijack this thread with another 21/25 debate. I'd love a small 25, and would hope it had basic slabs with no choils or grooves, but would likely buy one regardless.
