When are all these people that paid going to be taken care of?

Members here have paid for subscriptions/name changes and they've been waiting for them to be activated. Some for weeks. Despite the terms stating "allow up to 72 hours for activation". I realize the site had some trouble, but some of these were paid before that and the trouble seems to be over now.

These members wish to support this site, with their hard earned cash. But the only two that have been taken care of recently are the ones that threatened to do paypal reversals if they weren't by a certain date. The extra money was paid on all of these transactions because of the inconvenience, yet we continue to wait and wait. This seems to be a problem and I've heard it is an ongoing one. Maybe if these can't be taken care of in a timely manner something is very flawed with this payment method?

After all in this day and age people are not used to instantly paying and receiving such poor service. It cannot be good for the site and it does not encourage those members that have to pay by money order or paypal, to support it. I know it takes some bother and time to take care of these, but an extra fee has been paid on each of them, because of that. Also nothing has to be packaged and shipped, if we were purchasing goods it would be even more bother, yet we wouldn't find it acceptable to wait weeks for in stock goods to ship.
 
I paid for mine last night and within minutes I could change it to gold. Have you tried to see if your subscription works?

You paid with a credit card, mine was paid by paypal and no I can't join anything. I've been gold here for years and I know how it's done.
 
With a little help from some friends I paid for a Gold membership for KuRUpTD on Feb 8th.Order #79845.

It was with a CC not paypal.I agree it is taking longer than usual to go through.
 
Mine was a gift as well, so I really don't know the details (I assumed it was paypal because of not being able to join) But, this isn't about just mine, there's members waiting longer than me that are from outside the USA that have no choice but to be manually activated.

I have always paid mine ahead of time, but I received no email and it did expire. Some good folk gifted me this one. (thanks!) But, it's not just me it's many that are adding up and even a stated time as to when they will be taken care of would be helpful.
 
Being that my Gold membership was generously paid for by some of the great members on this site, I guess I really can't complain too much ... but waiting 16 days ( and counting ) has been VERY frustrating to say the least.

It's still somebody's money and doesn't change the fact it isn't being handled in a timely manner.
 
Yeah, I've been waiting almost 3 weeks now for a Username change.... I love ya Spark and I know you have a lot on your plate but this is really taking too long.
 
I paid for a gold membership yesterday using paypal. Immediately after paying I went to my profile page and updated my membership.
 
Jill I understand you're frustrated but it doesn't help any being curt with someone who is only trying to help.
 
I'll message Spark about this and hopefully get these matters addressed. I know he's had a lot on his plate of late. (Not offered as an excuse, just an explanation for delays.)
Still, folks have paid for services and they're entitled to their money's worth.
I'll report back if I hear anything...but hopefully the issue will be resolved shortly.
