When are the Benchmade NRA knives coming out?

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Rick Hinderer on Saturday and he said he had no idea when the site was opening...but I did handle one of the prototypes for them...it was cool.

From NRAstore.com... "We’ve teamed up with our friends at Benchmade to deliver a completely unique limited edition knife only available through NRA. The striking flag design handles are made from anodized aluminum for extreme durability. The drop point blade is made from the highest quality 154CM stainless steel and features the NRA Eagle logo on the front of the blade with “Limited Edition” etched on the backside. “Freedom’s Steel” also utilizes Benchmade’s widely celebrated Axis Lock mechanism, making it one of the smoothest and strongest locking mechanisms on the market today. Equipped with a sturdy clip, it’s the perfect size and weight for everyday carry. A rare and unique high quality knife that’s sure to become a collector’s item. Available in limited quantities. Are the NRA Knives going to be new designs?

I ask this because the knife pictured above is a Benchmade 720 anodized to look like an American flag. The 720 is one of my favorite designs so I may just have to pick up one of the NRA copies.

I saw a post today that says they expect the web site to be open by the end of March, but are trying for mid march.
