I had traded for a used BME a while back but I was missing the old clip point of the straight handle model. Well, a little careful grinding on the Bader BIII and POOF!!!! A clip point BME!!!! The edge had been reprofiled to a symetrical edge by a previous owner and I have shaped the grips a little to better fit my hand so it just seemed natural to go whole Hog(pun intended) and add the new point. The point hasn't moved as I was able to take the back down slowly. I kept the blade cool so as to not mess with the temper at all. It doesn't really add any magical properties to the design but it does make me smile :) Let me know whatcha think of her.

Thanks Bill! I don't know why either, but I like the clip point better too. Looks very good! Yum!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Bill,

Good job on the clip point; I really like it!:D
Did you remove any metal from the handle area, or did you just reshape the micarta?

Gene

Thanks for the kind words guys. On the handle reshaping, I didn't touch the metal. Just rounded the slabs a little more.

Nice mod Mr Bill!!! The clip narrows down the point very sweetly.
