When did Buck Knives leave California?

I remember Buck used to be located near San Diego, Ca.

Anyone know when did they move to Idaho? It doesn't really matter, just curious ... sad, it seems like a lot of companies have left California. :(

Others will probably fill in any mistakes that I make, but, I believe that Buck Knives moved from El Cajon, CA to Post Falls, ID between the end of 2004 and the middle of 2005.

Has Buck got any premises left at El Cajon or are they all wrapped up there ?

I think that Buck has finished moving everything from El Cajon to Post Falls. I believe that the warranty/repair department was the last thing to move North.

All the US made Bucks are now produced in Idaho. Some offices may still be in CA.

FYI
Joe is in Post Falls. He probably has not updated his info.
Buck still has a company store and order entry department in the Weld Blvd. plant in El Cajon. Also, Wilde Bill Cody is still operating at that site.
Buck moved the factory operation from El Cajon to Post Falls, Idaho during December 2004 and on into early 2005. By late February or March, as I recall, they had production underway in the new plant.
Joe can correct me if I missed these dates a bit.
