I have a few Case knives, mainly with carbon blades. I recently bought a gum fuddy stainless Peanut which quickly became a favorite. I began wondering for how long they have made stainless slip joints?.
I believe Case and the others started offering stainless steel blade variations in the late teens or early1920's. I'm pretty sure it was post WW1 when stainless steel was developed, and knife makers started to use it.
