When did CRK start the birth cards?

I have an original Green Beret in S30V but don't remember ever seeing a birth card when I received it. When did they start doing this?

Way back before the Green Beret was a gleam in Chris' eye. They've been doing birthcards since their South Africa days.

Do they supply these with all knives? I bought my Green Beret from an authorized dealer but it wasn't included in the box.

They do include them with all knives.

At the very least, if you send the knife in to CRK they can provide a reissued card. Not with the original birth date obviously, but it gives a certificate of authenticity of the model.
