When did RANDALL offer the built in compass handle option?

Does anyone know what era that RANDALL offer the built in compass handle option? Was it the 60s?? I saw a model 3-7 with a HIESER sheath with this compass option..

As far as I know it is still offered. But its a add on and cost abit more. This is of there 2013 catalog
