When did Victorinox stop putting the groove in the corkscrew? I heard it was somewhere between 1991 and 1994.
I have a Victorinox Camper Swiss Army Knife I got in 1992 or 1993 and it has the groove in the corkscrew.
Are these a bit more valuable? I'm just wondering how much it is worth cause I'm thinking of selling it.
It's in really good condition (not mint) but barely ever used. The knife doesn't show any wear or scuffs. It's still shiny.
Thank you.

Definitely stopped using the groove in the early 90s. There are more ways to narrow down the date. Could you post pictures of all the tools and markings?

According to SAKWiki the groove was dropped in 1991. I have collected a lot of SAKs over the years and the ones that seem to be worth more are the rare hard to find ones "Safari, Woodsman, Scientist, Mauser and the vintage soldiers. Another item I used to look for was a small clip point blade for the small blade. My SAK collection has a bunch of split cork screws but if I remember most models were between 15.00-50.00 depending on tool set, condition and demand.
