When do you look for morels?

I know there is a small window of opportunity to go pick some Morels but when is the best time? Around here its been pretty dry for a while and lots have been complaining about it. But last night it started raining and is supposed to rain/storm off and through Sunday. Temp has been in the high 60s, low 70s. So when do you guys find is the best time to go mushroom hunting? Right after a rain when the sun is out? Or a few days after? Do I need to wait for it to stop raining for several days or does it matter?

Right after a rain.As soon as you can.They get a little rain they will be popping. Monday its suppose to stop raining. If you wait there will be too much green growth to see them.
