When does CRK announce changes?

I'm wondering what to expect from CRK at Blade Show 2017. Not looking for specifics, unless you have any to share... Generally wanted to know if CRK has a routine of announcing changes and what time of year do they usually release this information. Do they release information regarding inlays for 2017-2018 at Blade Show? Is Blade Show historically the time of year CRK announces changes to the line-up or pattern updates?

I'm new to CRK. I am planning on getting one, but wanted to know if I should wait to see what's coming next.

Thank you

I don't know. I doubt anyone knows what CRK is up to. Considering that they just released the Inkosi I doubt they have a new knife model they are about to release a new knife model. I suspect they will probably just release a few special editions and be done with it.

If there is going to be something new, SHOT and Blade is where it typically happens. Other than that CRK is pretty good about not releasing details before the shows.

Thank you, that's helpful to know.

Another question for anybody regarding when changes are made. Does CRK have a pattern they follow for inlay offerings? Do they change them out on a fixed schedule... every year, every other year, or is it random? One thing regarding inlays I don't understand is I thought Box Elder Burl was an older offering, but I see Box Elder Burl with a recent date of birth. I assume this is due to a period of overlap from discontinued inlay's to the current offerings?

Go look on the CRK web site and you'll see the wood inlays being offered today. Box Elder is still on that list.
