Damascus friction folder.

Blade: 3 11/16" tip to handle, 136 layer random damascus, 1095/L6 steel, rope pattern filework, twisted tail
OAL: 9 5/16"
Closed length:7 "
Backbar: Blued carbon steel, rope pattern filework on the outside, v's and circle filework inside, twisted tail
Handle: Weatered elk, dyed and treated, brass pins

I put my hands and eyes on this extremely nice piece for 30 minutes yesterday. As with most, the pictures do not show just how exceptional this functional art piece is. It is comfortably hand-filling with near 5 inches of Elk antler. The details are executed precisely. Copper washers allow it to pivot as smoothly as the highest cost folder. As good as it gets in this style.
