Gday folks,
As the saying goes, "When in Rome do as the Romans do", while at my mate Bill Burke's in November i forged out 2 blades along the lines of what Bill is better known for.
First up is my 8&1/2" Chefs knife done in San Mai construction of 52100 clad in 416 stainless. Bolsters are Mokume and handle is stabilised Black Ash burl. Overall length is 13&3/4".
Second is my interpretation of the Pronghorn done in triple everything 52100 with brass gaurd and sheephorn spacer and handle. Blade length is 6& 1/4" and 12" overall.
Sure were a lot of fun to do:thumbup:

Cheers Bruce
