When is the GripLoc due to be out?

I am patiently anticipating this knife and it will be my first boker. Any idea when this is coming out?

I talked to Boker Europe a couple of weeks ago and they told me it would be on the 8th of August, yet the release date has been postponed numerous times since the original prediction for May.

Disappointing repetition of delays... however... somehow folks in Europe are getting their hands on them:

Hate to say it... but the black finish boker looks awfully painted on/cheapo like for a knife that costs > $70 ... and they changed the blade metal from 440C to Aus8 - at least from what I see printed on the blade of the knives. That change of blade metal has not been changed on the websites selling the knife regrettably. This is only my opinion of course - G&G hawk are incredible knife makers - I just wish that for this price point, a decent metal and nicer finish would have been applied. But I digress =)

Got mine today! My first boker and I like the feel of it. Feels like a lot of knife for 80 bucks.

I am sorry that the Hawks came out with this. I like almost all of their designs and this one too. I still want to get their last blade, the Buck 830.

Doesn't look like its a very well made knife. I mean, AUS 8 is far from my favorite steel and the blade coating looks like a 16 year old spray painted it... I am having some serious second thoughts.
