Compared to what? It was more than twice as much as the 52100 Mule and more expensive than the M4 Mule by a few dollars.
That's true. But in many people's opinion, mine included, S90V would be a bargain at 4X the price of 52100. What you're willing to pay depends on what you like. I'd pay whatever price was necessary for a Military in K390. Even twice the price of S90V.![]()
I would be the last to argue that S90V is not worth the extra money, but that still doesn't make it inexpensive. If the steel alone can double the cost of a simple design like the Mule, I think hoping the South Fork will come in cheaper than the Puukko is unreasonable.
I'm wondering if the hardness will be higher on this than the mule or the folders.
