Gees.. in a two week period..basement floods (right before the B13 release) .. my truck brakes down..an now I "may" have broke my foot.... have mercy

I broke my foot few weeks ago I think or something in my foot droped a refriderator on it hurts like a mother
 
You never really think about your feet much until they get hurt.
Then you realize how much you really need 'em.

I came home to a failed water heater and severe flooding in my basement a couple of years ago. The best part was I had just gotten off work and had three kids in tow... my wife was out of town on business. Insurance got us squared away, but it still sucked a lot.
 
Shitty situation dude. Just remember there is always someone worse off than you....i know that doesn't fix any of your problems but it's nice to think that even while your life is a mess, you're still doing better than some people!

I had a weekend like that a while back, my car got totaled by uninsured driver, next day wifes new car took a broke down, i forget the 3rd lol
 
I'm on a broken toe right now. Doc just said another full month on a knee scooter, or crutches.

I walked on it for a month first! It started to get pretty click and swollen. I finally went in after my kid stepped on it 4 times, I had to change a neighbor lady's tire in the highway in a suit, which meant I could not kneel. Had to squat on the broken toe. Then, when I got home, in pain, I tripped over the dog and really re-hurt it!

Thanks David, im alright... someone said they got dinged for WTF...that would cheer me up since I already paid for it..but I think they are full of it!

Hang in there man! The foot will heal, the basement will dry, and there is always another cool busse around the corner.
 
You speak the truth!!... ya I'm all good. Not trying to start a pity party.. but I sure appreciate all the kind words. This forum of friends always puts me in good spirits
 
Lots and lots of ice. Fell backwards onto a door handle. Muscle spasms, couldn't cough or sneeze wiyhout setting off the spasms. Ice packs all day helped the most, Hope it heals quickly!

Told my wife last night that we'll get thru it......we always do. And lo and behold, things are already lookin up...
