I Just got off the phone with Auntie.
She wanted me to let all of you know that the New shipments are going to be delayed a bit. Apparently just before Pala made it back to Nepal it had been raining pretty steadily and both BirGhorka shops ended up flooded. Equipment, stock and special orders are safe, but some pieces are going to have to be re-buffed before the shipment can be sent. Also there is going to have to be some clean up work done to the buildings before work can resume.

She wishes you all to know that they are doing their best and things should get back more to normal as winter approaches. She appreciates all the help and support you have all given to her,Pala and the Kami's and hopes that you will bear with us thru this.

Your Smoke, Prayer and good wishes are much appreciated.

Smoke up and an open request to send some of that rain my way. Anything we can do other than just be patient?

Thanks for the info Karda. Good thoughts for BirGorkha and all involved. Like oldschool45 said...if we can help, let us know.

Smoke up! But, someone please tell me what that means? Prayers and God speed for everyone affected. Take care.

it means what you said there on the end. not sure how the "smoke" thing began but as lot of forums do this, I suppose to try not to offend those who do not pray? :confused:

In any case...

Prayers sent and I hope things get back to normal soon. :D

Best wishes for the kamis. No big deal if the shipment is a little late, it happens.

Warty in some cultures they light "prayer sticks" that send up smoke (a visual sign of their "prayers") presumably going to heaven or those they intend to help. Hence "smoke" sent. Consider it an equivalent to a prayer but a tad more physical then going down on your knees to send it.

Thoughts with them!

Haven't been on this forum lately but need to check back in more. The items that I have from HI have performed well over the years and I need to look at more options once the kami's are back up and running.

Thank you for the help, Karda

Thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers

I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha,
Until I attain enlightenment.
By the merit accumulated from practicing generosity and the other perfections,
May I attain Enlightenment in order to benefit all sentient beings.

May all beings have happiness and its causes,
May all beings be freed from suffering and its causes;
May all beings constantly dwell in joy transcending sorrow;
May all beings dwell in equal love for those both close and distant.

Smoke & prayers from the Coastal Cliffs :)
