Does the age or value matter?
I like knifes from all over and all kinds, one of my favorites is an old knife made from a file I used for skinning animals I slaughtered.

Here is one of my junk piles

Is that a Valor in the center right in the long leather sheath? I found a Valor Scotland Yard in beautiful condition w/sheath for $1.50 at a flea market. Needed an edge, but nice otherwise.

I have had some good finds at local flea markets, just this summer I have picked up a Spyderco Harpy and Ladybug, Ka-Bar Mule, and a Kershaw JYD 2. All cheap prices compared to new.

Nice score on the barrel knife. I've always thought those were cool.

I ran into a guy at a flea market last summer. he had scored a mint Randall knife at a yardsale on the way up. he had it stuffed in his pocket. It looked like a model one, I'm not too familiar with randalls, but it looked like some kind of special edition. the guy got it for $30........................ I almost fell over when he said that. why can't I find those deals

When we bought our house that knife was in parts in the shed.

I saw the handle and looked around for the innards never found them. Couple days later
My oldest Son at that time was 8 came in and said Dad look, he found the blade and handle put them together and had him self a knife.

Needless to say I was pissed; I wanted the cool old knife, 10 years later I get the knife for a Christmas gift, Dad got a big smile on that Christmas day.

Yup the boys got a good eye. Smart too, he knows it’s a knife he’ll get back one day

That folder is a 1885 Utica made in Japan. One of the smoothest knifes I ever owned, well made with no ledges anywhere on the knife. Good quality 440 stainless, I carryed the knife for over a year, it holds an edge forever. The brass is darker then both Buck and Schrade. its a good 9" knife. I paid 5 bucks at a flea market.

Etched on the blade is C*L*A*S*S CROP PROTECTION
