Hey all - I have decided to make use of some of my steel cutoffs that are too small for knives and try to make some keychain prybars/screwdriver tools. For anyone that has also done this - how would you heat treat something for this intended purpose if at all?

I have a steel cup for small stuff. Quench it all at once dunked in oil. Remove one by one from cup, return the oil and temper.

I did a batch of key chain bottle openers/slotted screwdrivers and put them all on a big ring of mild steel. I took the ring out of the oven and quenched the whole lot at one time. I shook it all around and up and down rapidly to get a good cooling rate. Worked fine.
