When person becomes a hog?

Hello everyone! I've been wondering when does person becomes a true hog?

I never thought I would buy a Busse. I bought modified Dumpster Mutt, I was happy. Then I bought Busse GameWarden few months back.

Now I am waiting my 2nd Busse: Cultie. I've started to understand what Busse is about. The steel is awesome. Gamewarden made fine splinters of logs, took batoning like champion. Only sign of heavy camp work is minor wear is black coating. I sitll haven't need to sharpen it and it still shaves hair off my arm.

I love Busses designs. I wish I would have money to buy more but I am glad to have 1 Scrapper and 2 Real Busse's (though Cultie is still in mail). But man is never really happy.

With Cultie and GameWarden, I have excellent utility knives but I desire chopper made out of INFI. All this has made me think, what is a hog and am I becoming one? Or am I already one?

For starters, good to see you baton with your game warden :thumbup:, I've done a little with my SAR 3, it's amazing that you can do with a little knife.

As for Hogdom, I became one at Blade this year, and to become one, basically, you have to shake the Man's hand (getting drunk with the Man doesn't hurt either).
 
it's mostly an attitude founded in a love the for the actual knives.

"getting it" is being a HOG as much as any other factor.

shaking Jerry's hand is a big part, but still just a part.

one knife or a whole bunch of them, it doesn't matter.

I was HOG from minute five of knife one.

and that was a few knives ago.
 
State of mind, my friend... it's a state of mind.



Moreover, It's a community... greater folks you will not find.

You MIGHT be a Hog if you spend your idle time thinking of ways to enshrine INFI and the Busse name in ways that bring them into the fabric of your daily life. :)

Thank you everyone! This helped alot. Now, I'm saving up some money and wait when I can buy some nice INFI chopper.

Will, YOU'R a HOG BRO!!! :eek: Man that's a mess of INFI!!!!
 
I think I'm at something like 8 knives in a 12 month period and I'm still working on it. You have to step up you game!
 
You must spend over $3,000.00 a month on INFI, be in serious cc debt, have many a "safe queen", make it to Blade every year, shake the man's hand, drink rocket fuel, etc...

:p ;)
