when the strange get stranger?

A study along these lines led by French marketing and style consultants Nelly Rodi was unveiled to Fashion Group International during a seminar Tuesday on future strategy for the fashion industry in Europe.

And surgeons think we need more surgery, dentists think we need more dental care, and lawyers think we need more litigation.

I think I am _fairly_ open-minded on matters of style, but this moron looks like Howdy Doody with his pants on backwards!

Svashtar summed it up pretty well. As much as I like them, the girlie man is out. The trend is masculine guys in good suits, and the article is just an attempt by the designers to unload all the leftover crap they have lying around.

The real victim here is that model. Poor guy. Think of him before you say modelling is an easy job.

The designer must've had a run in with Lorena Bobbit as he has lost his Richard!!!! :( :grumpy:
I am ashamed for him I am!!!! :o

Almost every man and for damned sure Every Woman knows that men generally think with their Richards.
That is except when they are Hungry, Too Cold, Too Warm, or are suffering other discomforts so that Richard just does not want to come out and play. :p ;) :D

"Instead today's males are turning more towards "creativity, sensitivity and multiplicity," as seen already in recent seasons on the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

Arnold Schwarznegger and Sylvester Stallone are being replaced by the 21st-century man who "no longer wants to be the family super-hero", but instead has the guts to be himself, to test his own limits.

"We are watching the birth of a hybrid man. ... Why not put on a pink-flowered shirt and try out a partner-swapping club?" asked Le Louet, stressing that the study had focused on men aged between 20 and 35.

"He is looking for a more radical affirmation of who he is, and wants to test out all the barbarity of modern life" including in the sexual domain, said Le Louet, adding that Reebok with its "I am what I am" campaign had perfectly tapped into this current trend."

I think its pretty clear that this is fashion for gay guys. They didnt try too hard to hide it....

This is great news for the single guys! Think about it. What normal, rational woman would pick the Blue's Clues reject over a strapping guy in a casual suit and loose tie or even tight cowboy cut jeans and a white T-shirt? I embrace mannliness. Am I sensitive? sure. Do i cry? you better believe it. Am i afraid to tell my wife to be what i'm thinking/feeling/that i love her? Not in the least. Will I wear horizonal stripes and clothing that makes me look like a meatless eunuch? No freakin' way, pal. How is this clothing even expected to be anything besides a disaster? My fiance can't even get me to wear matching socks with no holes in the toe...do you think the frilly ruffles are gonna fly?;)

Quick test of my hypothisis: How many of you guys have ever pictured, imagined, or even BEEN in a situation where you felt like, acted like, or wish you were Bruce Willis?

Umh, you have a wife AND a fiance? NOw that is a MAN!

I don't think this fashion trend is going to fly except maybe some retards will try it. Remember back years ago when they were pushing skirts for men? Even the gays wouldn't touch it.

Hey Danny, is that supposed to be a man wearing that frilly blouse?
