The seller suggested 1954. That came, I believe, from an item number on the lower right corner, 7-54. Is he right? What four knives belong on this display?

In any case, the four knife display is unique in that it has spaces for two Imperial Jackmaster knives and below that, two Ulster knives.

It is too large to fit on my scanner, but I pieced two scans together for a better view of the text.

Codger, I handle a lot of paper items ( ephemera ) and I would say you could take that date to the bank ( so the saying goes ) as the date of manufacture of the display/ actual display of knives, realitivly thereabout. Will look good with corresponding knives attached. Dale H.

Thanks KWIM. So the question remains, what two Imperials and what two Ulsters belong on this display?

I'll kick it off....from the top No.C3-JM435 is a Imperial Jackmaster Barlow which had imitation Pearl Handles in assorted colors. red, white, and black.....nickel bolsters ,two blades.. clip and pen....brass lining.....$15 per dozen...
I think I know the rest too but you blokes already think I'm a bit of a bighead Aussie so I'll leave them to you.......over.....Hoo Roo

Larry, I don't know you, so i'm not going to pass any kind of judgement about you. Had some d--- good times drinking with your fellow "blokes" at a couple of USO shows around 37 or 38 yrs. ago. That being said, I'd appreciate knowing the other knives on that display. That way Codger could fill the display and the rest of us could enjoy seeing it. Have a good day "bloke", Dale H.
