When was this Military made?

I'm hoping one of the resident Spyderco experts can help me figure out when this Military was made? It has the plastic washers, and the Phillips head clip screws. This knife was given to me as a gift from a friend in the knife community. Thanks.

They went from 440V to S30v in 2004. Don't know when they quit using Phillips screws.

As Clanton commented transition from blade steel 440V to S30V in 2004.

Also, I think 2004 was last standard production (non Sprint, etc.) to have Military printed on the blade (so yours is probably later than 2004).

Early S30V knives had weaker feeling detents, later models had stronger detents (may help if you can compare).

My guess would be 2005.

If you're looking for Spyderco experts, the Spyderco forum is a better bet than General Knife Discussion. So I moved this there.

This one only has 1 nested liner. The scale opposite the liner lock is just plain g10.

Thanks! Four points in detail let me think your Military is produced around 2006:
- different font size of Spyderco / CPM S30V on blade (Spyderco not in capital letters, as the year before)
- bug logo on blade
- fine jimpings on blade
- lack of second nested liner

Hope it helps ... and if I am wrong, this means nothing, as your Military is a fine knife
