When were the case antique tang stamp series made?

the tangs are stamped in the 1940-64 style (main blade has "Case" and "xx" under it, with "ss" on the opposite side, no dots.) the stainless blades look good (especially on the tang) but what really gets me is the quality of the bone inserts. it really reminds you of 1920-40 or 1940-64 jigged bone.

If you are referring to the actual "Case Antique Tang Stamp Series" that was a special factory order for one of the big Case resellers in TN, I know that some of them were made in 2012. I don't know if they did all of them in that year or spread them out over a few years.

Update: I did a little more research. There were apparently three releases in the series.

1st series was in Brown Rogers Jigged Bone, made in 2012
2nd series was Amber Second Cut Stag, made in 2012
3rd series was Old Red Jigged Bone, guessing made in 2012 through 2013. They were still featuring them in catalogs in early 2014.

thanks. i'm looking at an old red jigged bone stockman. really a looker. it looks like a better alternative to those vintage 40-64 numbers online.

That is a nice looking Case 6375. It will have stainless steel blades and be pretty much like any other current production Case 6375 as far as overall fit and finish go. The back of the main blade should have the regular Case tang stamp with the Case logo and the stars and dots pattern that depict the actual date of manufacture.

I have an antique tang stamp barlow and I am very pleased with it. Love the bone on it.
