When will be the Carracci Dagger available?

Despite once being listed on the Emerson site as an eventual production knife the Carracci Dagger will not be available as such. If you recall the knife was posted on the site under the Police utility through the end of 1998 and the beginning of 1999. Then it disappeared. I am not sure if the knife is even available as a custom option at this point. I think that it went the way of the Warrior.

OK, just an update regarding this Emerson knife. According to Emerson lore the Carracci dagger project was dropped. At the same time I heard this news I noticed that the Emerson site (which I was checking on a daily basis back then) dropped the photo and description of the knife. These two factors led me believe that the said knife had in fact been eighty-sixed from the Emerson line-up.
Well this may only be news to me but retailers are advertising the dagger. When I inquired as to its availability the response was no surprise: "The dagger is not in yet."

arkhamdrifter is right on the money. The knife is not going into production. Too bad, it was an interesting addition to the line up.

This is what is so great about this forum. I can be away for awhile and someone else probably has the answer and gives me a hand.
