When will the BJ’s come down?

IIRC, they have been up since the mid/end of February; so around 4 ½ - 5 months. I’m hoping to see something new pretty quick! I would like to vote ‘a few days’, but I don’t see that happening, so my vote goes to ‘2 weeks’.

That is exactly how I feel! I ordered a BJ-LE when they first came out (I think the 1st or 2nd day they were up and I have another from a Ganza - 2 total) – I guess I should have waited a little while – because money burns a whole in my pocket too. I really hope to see something new soon…

Ever since I've seen videos, hearing testimonials of these extraordinary knives I've always wanted one. The smaller knives that Busse makes are fine but I want my first purchase from this company to be the larger 10 inch plus type.

As for the Mistress, I don’t think one of those will be up for quite some time (Busse has recently had the Killa Zilla-2 & BWM – Bushwhacker Mistress up for sale; both having blades over 10”) unless via Ganza. Although the Basic-10 (10” blade) may be up next or after 2 runs. Your best bet is over on the Busse [& kin] for sale forum here on BF – or maybe even eBay (but you’re gonna pay more probably). I can say this with confidence; you will be amazed at the quality of a Busse if it’s your first. Specifically if it is a mistress or NO or any large blade – IMO, nobody can compare to a Busse in the 8+ inch range.

On another note, I’m pretty surprised at how many 8 weeks + votes there are – that would mean this model will be up for 7 + months – much too long for me.

Thank you for your reply, I'm glad I joined. The information I gain from here sure beats me drooling over the computer screen looking at pics of busse knives, and I figured I would gain a lot of more informed input from users and I appreciate all the information I can get. I'll try either waiting for the BM on their website or pick up one on the exchange. Also I agree with the time span being too long, and I've read on here before about Busse might sell knives in three categories (large, medium, small) someday and I hope they will implement this soon in part because it would reach a wider customer base. But I'll leave it at that, Im new here and I dont want to sound critical of their business practices and I have nothing but respect and admiration of Jerry Busse and his knives
