It's not that bad of a rule once you look at it in perspective. The reason it was changed is that people were bumping their threads every five minutes with "email sent", "email replied", and stuff like that which was knocking threads down as soon as they were posted. This way is a bit more bothersome for price drops and such, but threads stay visible longer after the initial posting.

Best advice I can give is to link to your sale in your sig line. That'll give you more exposure.

The bumps have been disabled for over 6 months now. For Sale traffic is still as heavy as ever. It works.

Thank you Kiah for the advise to utilize my sig line, however, I'm just not as active as I once was. (less exposure) Spark, I'm not trying to start a war here or anything because if you check my posts, thats just not my style. Someone here said it best that, arguing on line is for morons. I believe that. Having said all that, we have gone from bumping every 5 minutes with a, email replied to, to basically bumping every 2 weeks? Can we reach a happy, something everbody agrees to, middle road?

The middle road is 2 weeks before a repost. Any less time and the same people keep dominating things over and over again.
