..and have no idea how in the hell you get into a fresh coconut.

I realized that to my Floridian neighbors, I must look "special" working over a coconut I found in the yard with my hatchet. I couldn't help but laugh at myself!

I love some fresh coconut. Once you drink the water you get them to split it and eat the fresh meat- it is soft like a custard. I have had them in India and the Philippines. Eat enough and you do not need fiber in your diet ;)
You can also drill out the eye and stick a straw in it. I have a T handled tool for that.
