We’ve had some real nice anorexic thINFI lately (CABS, BWM, BJ-LE), which is great. But, I’m kinda hoping to see some beefy, porker-blades in the near future… .27 - .32”. Any other porkers on board?
 
Agreed. I have thin kitchen knives for the kitchen. I thought Busses were for smashing through the cutting board like Samurai Delicatessen!

Beef was at Knob Creek today ,he is the tall guy dark hair . He is really good at sharpening blades , thats why the ones with his name on the cardboard sheath are worth more. Well ok thats what I heard.
 
I just want to bring this to the top one more time (only 109 views)... Anybody else want to see some thick Busse's in the next run - at least one of the usual two that is put up? NMFFBM,?

i think this has been mentioned before,but a nmfsh would be awesome!!!maybe with a 9 or 9 1/4in blade at about .28-.30in.
it would be my #1 choice for a new busse design..

I agree with that! :thumbup: I would love to see a 9 - 9.25", .28-.32" Busse blade! NMFSH or NMSFSFNO - Nuclear Meltdown Special Forces Super Fat Natural Outlaw.;)

The longer Busse keeps coming out with skinny blades, the more money I have for guns.

The temptation to spend a chunk of cash on a knife is nonexistent if the blade is under. 30" thick:D

In a weird way, I’m sort of hoping that the next model will be anorexic as well. This way I won’t feel too bad about not buying it :foot: and can find someone’s mag (not sure if mags were standard on this one) handled NMFBM instead. ;):thumbup:

Edit: if the next model isn't at least .25" w/ a 9"+ blade (unless it's a NO), I'm probably going for a NMFBM... I NEED a full blown chopper!

I love the thicker blades, just not after a couple miles into a hike with one on my hip. :)
 
I think I have become a fan of the .220 to .270 zone. Can carry, swing and in general use to a greater degree w/o tiring!!!
 
Yeah I'm a little burned out on smaller Busses as well I've got a CABS and it's a great knife however when I think of Busse the kind of knives that come to my mind are large beefy fixed blades that look like they could hack through a car door and then some.
