I wish to now get a Norton Fine india stone...lots of good knife makers say that are a good stone ..but I cant find a website that sells the 12 inch stone,

And I see at a few sites that they sell a Norton fine india stone that has a corse side and a fine side,,,is this the one to get?...or is the Fine alone stone better for knives?

I wish to find a website that sells the 12 inch stone, and I need to know how much they want for them new?

The last I knew, Norton's number was 1-800-ITS EASY. The last stones I purchased came direct from them.

TruGrit in CA has a stone Wayne Goddard developed. It's an 11.5" fine India fused to an 11.5" coarse Crystolon. It's also $30 so you get a big Crystalon for free. You won't use it as much as the India, but it's great for really dull or chipped blades.
