I’m looking for a new knife to carry and the 112 Slim Pro TRX has caught my eye. I’ve noticed one thing and it’s that they’re pretty much out of stock every where and if you do find them it’s the orange one.

Is there something going on? Is it being phased out and replaced with something else? Any insider knowledge on what might be going on with them this fall? I thought it might be a good idea for a present but I did find a place that still has some in stock.

KnifeCenter has them.

Nice. Thanks I’ve seen a couple at Kittery Trading Post too. Something about the 112 Sport and the TRX they seem to be even more popular than I realized.

I bought the OD Green on sale from Bucks website a while ago. I actually really like this knife. I work in an office, and have carried multiple pocket knives over the years. Most recently a SOG Twitch II. Prior to that a Buck Nobleman that I had from my wedding. Those were my groomsman's gifts engraved with our last names. So i like a slim profile knife, and I have several 110's but no 112 so I went for it. The scales took some getting used to, still would prefer Micarta or something less aggressive on the texture. Its kind of hard on pockets. I also wish the thumb stud was not as large, or removeable. But otherwise I love the steel, and the size. Good luck in your hunt!
